Position: Precast Estimator
Location: Derbyshire
Salary: DOE
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Precast Estimator to join our leading manufacturing client who work within the Commercial and Domestic industries. The Precast Estimator will be reporting directly to the Commercial Director.
The Precast Estimator will be responsible for:
- Analysing construction drawings, bills of quantities and other project documentation to estimate costs.
- Product knowledge preferable but not essential.
- Researching, sourcing, negotiating, and obtaining the best prices from suppliers.
- Staying aware of the latest construction guidelines and requirements.
- Inputting on decisions on whether to bid or no bid on projects.
- Working closely with key members of the team.
- Engaging with prospective and existing customers via telephone, email and videocalls.
- Maintaining excellent client relationships through superior customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
