Engineering Project Manager

Engineering Project Manager, £50,000 pa, Somerton, Mon-Fri, 9am – 5pm, Permanent

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to join an expanding Marine Business in Somerton, this is a new role and you will have the opportunity to manage the project process from start to finish working alongside the MD.

As an Engineering project manager your role is to lead and manage up to 4 projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards. As an experienced Engineering Project manager your role will include:

• Developing detailed plans, working with clients and stakeholders to define the project, and creating a process to bring it to life
• Managing / working with a team to meet client expectations
• Tracking progress, costs, and hours, and reporting on issues, quality, and risks
• Addressing problems that arise and adapting plans as needed
• Budgeting and managing the project's finances
• Ensuring clients are satisfied with the project
• Assessing the project's efficiency and effectiveness after it's finished

As an experienced Engineering Project manager you will bring with you a variety of skills, including leadership, communication, decision making, and the ability to motivate others. You will need to have:

• Previous experience within Engineering, preferably the Marine industry
• Previous experience of managing engineering projects to completion
• Have excellent IT skills, especially Excel
• Be able to work as part of a team and on your own.
