Engineering Project Manager, £50,000 per annum, Somerton, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, Permanent. On Site only, no Hybrid working.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join an expanding Marine Business in Somerton. This is a newly created role, offering the chance to lead the project process from start to finish in collaboration with the Managing Director.

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for successfully leading and managing up to four projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing detailed plans, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to define project goals, and creating a streamlined process to bring them to fruition
  • Managing and working closely with a team to meet and exceed client expectations
  • Tracking progress, costs, and hours, and providing regular reports on any issues, quality, and risks
  • Addressing any problems that may arise and adjusting plans accordingly
  • Budgeting and managing the project's finances
  • Ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project
  • Evaluating the project's efficiency and effectiveness upon completion

As an experienced Engineering Project Manager, you will bring a diverse range of skills to the role, including strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and the ability to motivate others. To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in an Engineering role, preferably within the Marine industry
  • Prior experience successfully managing Engineering projects from start to finish
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • The ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently

If you have previous experience in a similar role within the Marine industry, you may be eligible for a higher salary.
