TSR Legal is thrilled to be working with a boutique, client-focused law firm based in Somerset, renowned for delivering exceptional legal services. The firm is seeking a Qualified Conveyancer to join their growing team in Somerton.

Purpose of the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all aspects of residential conveyancing, ensuring an efficient and effective service in managing residential property transactions from start to finish. As a Conveyancer, you will be expected to handle matters from sale to completion, ensuring smooth processes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a variety of residential conveyancing matters, including leaseholds, freeholds, registered and unregistered properties.
• Manage transactions involving sales, purchases, re-mortgages, new builds, right to buy, help to buy, shared ownership, lease extensions, deeds of variation, and other schemes.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and provide accurate legal advice based on up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Deliver a high standard of client service, maintaining excellent communication throughout the transaction process.
• As a Conveyancer, manage a diverse caseload independently, achieving time and billing targets while ensuring files are maintained in good order.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental workflow and assist with other client projects when needed.
• Build strong client relationships by upholding the firm’s ethos of exceptional client care.

Person Specification:

• 1 to 2 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload confidently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation relating to residential property transactions.
• High levels of integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
