Professional Technical are working with a globally established Aerospace and Defense manufacturer who are on the search for an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer located at their Newport facility. This is a contracting opportunity and is inside IR35. We are seeking someone who is available immediately and has experience with electrical design in the aerospace/automotive domain.
As an Electrical Design Engineer we are seeking an individual who will be responsible for the management of teams and producing electrical installations models and detailed drawings for new product and platform designs.
Job Profile of Electrical Design Engineer:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the following:
- Planning and coordination of all design activities
- Knowledge of CATIA V5
- Ability to read design drawings and specifications
- Experience with electrical routing design and installations
- Team Management
What we are looking for?
- Degree qualified in Mechanical, Aerospace and/or Structural Engineering
- Highly advanced user of Catia V5 and has exposure with Smarteam
- Previous experience in project leadership thorough full design lifecycle
- Ability in planning and scheduling design activities across a variation of design modules
