EC&I Handover Engineer
Certain Advantage is hiring for an EC&I Handover Engineer based in Somerset.

The Company
We're working with a leading energy project, which is at the forefront of the UK's sustainable energy future. This project is backed by industry leaders and is set to revolutionise energy generation, with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.

The Role
We're looking for a skilled EC&I Handover Engineer to play a pivotal role in the system handover and takeover process. You will ensure that installed systems meet engineering specifications and requirements, supporting seamless transitions between stakeholders from installation through to commissioning and pre-operations.

Key responsibilities include:
* Reporting to the Electrical and I&C Handover Lead in the Project team.
* Developing and updating system handover and takeover procedures, guidance notes, and work instructions.
* Tracking the Electrical and I&C system handover schedule.
* Reviewing Electrical and I&C documentation for compliance.
* Conducting site walk-downs with stakeholders to verify installations against specifications.

The Individual
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
* A strong technical background in electrical, I&C, or electronic engineering.
* Experience in the nuclear industry or other regulated industries (e.g., oil & gas, electricity).
* Hands-on experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, or operational support.
* Awareness of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
* Proven ability to provide technical expertise for troubleshooting and fault-finding activities.
