Astute's Renewables team is partnering witha successful renewable energy provider who cover Commercial, Industrial and some Utility scale Solar projects, to recruit a Solar Operations and Maintenance Engineer for their main office based down in South Somerset.
The crucial position of a Solar Operations and Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of up to 40,000, company pension and private health insurance.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the line manager you will:
- Be responsible for the performance of solar sites and ensuring it is optimised
- Perform planned and un-planned maintenance of sites
- Communicate and organise teams internally and externally
- Be involved in providing training and mentoring to junior staff members
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial or Utility Scale solar is desirable
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- A full UK Driving License
