Job Title: Case Manager - Tenancy and Estates

Location: Somerset

Hours Per Week: 37 Hours

Rate of Pay: 20-21 P/H (Umbrella)

Somerset Council are currently looking for an experienced Case Manager to join their Community Housing team.

Main Duties:

  • Provide tenancy advice and manage tenancy-related enquiries, ensuring support is offered to vulnerable customers for tenancy sustainment.
  • Oversee the administration and management of between 550 to 750 social housing properties, ensuring compliance with housing policies and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and tenancy checks, ensuring properties are maintained and health & safety risks are identified and addressed.
  • Engage with multi-agency partners, referring customers to appropriate services and attending relevant meetings to support tenants' needs.

The Candidate Will Have:

  • At least 2 years of housing management experience with a strong understanding of tenancy and estate management in a social housing context.
  • Knowledge of housing laws, tenancy agreements, and the ability to handle sensitive information with vulnerable customers.
  • Strong communication skills, the ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently, and experience with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
