MIS Developer

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Somerset.
Role Purpose
- Improve and manage data systems to support students, staff, and other users.
- Develop and maintain reports and web-based tools for education and administration.
- Ensure all data systems meet current and future internal and external needs.
Main Duties
- Maintain and improve data reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely information.
- Develop and enhance systems for student records and administration.
- Create reports to meet internal and external data requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand and implement reporting solutions.
- Lead special projects to improve data management and reporting.
- Support IT with system upgrades and software improvements.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in developing and managing data systems and reports.
- Excellent communication and networking abilities.
- Strong skills in SQL, reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI), and database management.
- Ability to develop web-based applications using programming languages like JavaScript, PHP, or .NET.
- Right to work in the UK
