Job Title: Senior Network Consultant
Location: UK - London
Salary: up to 72,500 DOE
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Consultant to deliver exceptional consulting services to our clients. This role is integral to the delivery team and focuses on providing expertise within a specialized practice area.
As a Senior Network Consultant, you will collaborate within a project team, either supporting senior delivery staff or independently leading small to medium engagements. You will leverage your technical expertise to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and actively contribute to the continuous development of our consulting practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as part of a team while taking initiative to execute tasks and solve challenges independently.
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives as required.
- Deliver high-quality technical designs and implementations aligned with client needs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ensure project deadlines and customer expectations are met consistently.
- Contribute to the professional growth of junior consultants through mentorship and guidance.
Core Competencies and Skills:
- Expertise in Fortinet and Cisco firewalls, including low-level design, configuration, and management.
- Proficiency in Cisco and Dell switching technologies, encompassing design and deployment.
- Comprehensive understanding of WAN technologies such as MPLS and SD-WAN.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications and Experience:
- CCNA certification or equivalent, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
- Good experience in a consulting environment, specializing in designing and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Proven track record in successfully managing and delivering client projects to specification.
