Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary Scale: £90-£110
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will lead and deliver lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher, ensuring the continued progress and engagement of students.
- Support and Differentiation: Provide targeted support to individuals and groups of students, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaboration: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school leaders to contribute to the planning and development of curriculum activities.
- Assessment and Reporting: Assist in the assessment of student progress, providing valuable insights and feedback to contribute to ongoing improvement.
- Behavioural Support: As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant you will implement positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development, staying informed about best practices and educational innovations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified as HLTA or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, with a demonstrated ability to lead lessons and support diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
- Initiative, adaptability, and a genuine passion for contributing to the educational success of students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or a related field.
