Gap Healthcareis currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Service Manager to oversee a supported living service, and to support with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. 

Salary - £28,000 - £33,000 per annum.

Full-time, flexible to include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Person-Centered Support: Collaborate with supported individuals and their families to empower decisions that shape how they live, ensuring all personal needs are respected and met.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of home management, including staff supervision, rota planning, care plans, quality assurance, staff training, budget management, financial oversight, and medication administration.
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly monitor activities to ensure support and care align with our group's policies and sector regulations.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that strives to deliver the best practices in care for individuals using our services.
  • Professional Representation: Serve as an ambassador for the organization, maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Service Manager supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, or complex needs. Applications from experienced Deputy Managers with a desire to advance are also welcome.
  • Qualifications: Relevant health or social care qualification (NVQ Level 5) or other professional credentials such as Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work.
  • Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of best practices in managing challenging behaviour with a positive behaviour support approach.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the service.
