We are seeking a Machine Operative/Shift Leader for a busy manufacturing line in Huddersfield HD7.
This is a permanent position with an initial late shift from 12.00 to 22.00, transitioning to an early shift from 5.45 to 14.00.
The pay ranges from £13 to £15 per hour, depending on experience and training progress.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of relevant experience and should be physically fit to handle heavy lifting.
The role involves operating machines, ensuring safety checks, and meeting production KPIs while leading a small team.

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative/Shift Leader to work on a busy manufacturing line in Huddersfield HD7.

This is a permanent opportunity with the company.

Initially working the Late shift 12.00-22.00 before moving to the Early shift 5.45-14.00

Pay £13-15ph

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Working in a busy plant
Operating machines, minimize downtime and ensure machine is cleaned
Setting out Machines and carrying out safety checks
Report any maintenance issues
Ensure you are hitting production figures and meeting KPI’s.
Follow health and safety at all times

Required Skills/Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role (2 years)

- Physically fit due to heavy lifting manual duties

- Previous experience leading a small team

Salary

Pay begins as NMW with increases in line with training and move to permanent position and shift lead.
