Audit & Accounts Senior - Top 20 firm Croydon, South London £40,000 to £50,000 Butler Rose public practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a high growth nationally based Top 20 firm that are eager to recruit a suitably experienced and qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to complement the highly successful existing team. Role requirements - This position is split approximately 70/30 between audit and non-audit assignments. A varied role, working within a team on the firm's larger audits for both corporate and not-for-profit clients. Handling client queries and overseeing the work of more junior members of staff. Leading on some of the firm's smaller audits reporting directly to the audit partner Preparation of year-end financial statements, and computations for corporation tax returns for audit and non-audit clients Person Requirements - ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 3+ years' experience in a similarly blended role with a bias towards audit. Fully up to date with current auditing and accounting standards and conversant with relevant company law. Sound tax knowledge, in particular corporation tax. An awareness of VAT and payroll taxes is also highly advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral Proficient in the use of CCH and Pro-audit would be highly advantageous. Experience or knowledge of the Mercia audit methodology would also be desirable.
