Academics are currently recruiting for a Level 2 Nursery Assistant to join a nurturing, and stimulating Nursery. The Nursery are committed to delivering high-quality childcare and early year's education, and we're looking for a caring, motivated, and qualified Nursery Assistant to help us continue this important work.
The Role: Level 2 Qualified Nursery Assistant - Croydon
As a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will play an integral role in supporting the children's learning, development, and well-being. You'll assist in creating a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for children aged 0-5 years and work alongside a dedicated team of early years professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care and support for children, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.
- Assist with planning and delivering activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Support children in their daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and nap times.
- Observe and record children's progress and development, providing feedback to the team and parents as required.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet the individual needs of all children.
Key Requirements:
- Level 2 NVQ in Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude with a passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
