Nursery Nurse
Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a quality private Day Nursery based near South Croydon, London. The successful candidate must be passionate and dedicated with a real want to work and develop young children.
Key Purposes of the role include:
- To have a strong understanding of the EYFS and how it informs your practice
- To be a key worker for a group of children providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment in order to promote each child's development (social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual) to the best of his/her potential
- Actively participate in planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate and effective childrens profiles with observations and development records
- To work within statutory requirements of the nurseries policies and procedures,
- To be able to work successfully in partnership with parents for the benefit of their children.
- Demonstrate good teamwork and communication within the Nursery environment
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
Requirements:
- A level 3 NNEB, NVQ, Cache or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification
- A sound understanding of the latest EYFS framework.
- A working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
- Good communication skills with both children and adults
