About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Trainee Dental Nurse to join our professional and welcoming team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship in a progressive dental environment.
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our skilled dental professionals, assisting in delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilise instruments while maintaining a clean and organised surgery.
- Provide reassurance and support to patients throughout their appointments.
- Ensure patient records and documentation are accurately maintained.
- Adhere to infection control and health and safety protocols.
- Occasionally support reception duties, including booking appointments and handling queries.
- Commit to ongoing professional development by completing your dental nurse qualification.
Requirements:
- A passion for patient care and a desire to build a career in dental nursing.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies.
- Commitment to enrol in and complete an approved dental nursing qualification.
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling.
- Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination (or at least the first dose).
- Enrolment confirmation for an approved dental nursing course.
- Right to work in the UK.
