About Us:

Academics is currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join Primary Schools in the Croydon area. If you are looking for full time or part time work supporting students please don't hesitate to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation and organization of classroom resources and materials.
  • Work with small groups or individual students to support their learning and development.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and share feedback with the class teacher.
  • Assist in lunchtime supervision and other school duties as required.
  • Promote inclusion, equality, and diversity within the school community.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their best.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting or with children (desirable but not essential).
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to working in the classroom.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.
