About the Role:We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Croydon in November 2024-July 2025. This part-time position involves supporting various classes, assisting teachers with lesson preparations, and helping students thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
- Ensure student safety and engagement during lessons and breaks.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
- Perform light administrative tasks when necessary.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Understanding of primary school curriculum and child development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Patient, positive, and committed to student growth.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable).
- CACHE Level 1, 2, or 3; First Aid certification is a plus.
