Your new role We are looking to appoint a determined and dynamic individual, committed to driving up standards in Music. To be successful in this role you will have;

  • To be the lead professional for the teaching of all Music subjects' courses, and music extra-curricular activities. To develop further music activity within the schools including the sixth form.
  • A passion for teaching secondary music.
  • An empathy with young people and a willingness to work hard to motivate and encourage them in developing a love of the subject.
  • The ability to organise and teach lessons with flair and imagination.
  • A responsibility of raising the standards of teaching, learning and student achievement in music for students aged 11-18.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in joining one of our partner schools you will need to have QTS and recent experience of teaching music at KS3 or KS4 in mainstream schools.
