Pay - £110 - £130 per day dependent on experience

 

We are currently working in partnership with an educational organisation who are currently seeking a Therapeutic Outreach Tutor to join them and help to support their students in the community. The role will involve working either one-to-one or with small groups of students and supporting them to access their curriculum. The role will require a flexible approach to travel as you may be required to travel to different students and you will be required to travel to the central school hub for specialised training & team meetings once a week. 

This role is only suitable for educators with a minimum of TWO years experience working with young people within an SEMH education setting. The role is only available full time Monday - Friday and the hours are 8.30am - 4.30pm

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with hard to reach young people with SEMH/ACE's/ASC/Sensory & communication difficulties 
  • Be 'trauma informed'. Ideally with a mentoring, coaching, teaching background and have an understanding of Therapeutic Education
  • Have the ability to build strong, meaningful and healthy relationships 
  • Be able to maintain professional boundaries and be resilient, solution focussed and reflective in their in their practise 

 

There is no guaranteed parking onsite however travel expenses during work hours and lunch with students will be reimbursed.
