Description

Role Purpose:

>To project manage and support the delivery of different project work-streams and activities for the delivery of the Substance Misuse Public Health projects and contracts.

>To identify key project stakeholders and develop and implement strategies and approaches to establish positive, effective working relationships with them.

>To prepare high-quality project related and other documentation to support the project delivery and effective change.

>To carry out analysis and research, gaps in services, identifying opportunities to deliver value for money, and contributing towards service re-design.

>To comply with the Office of Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) monitoring requirements related to the project's data returns and grant conditions.

Key Accountabilities:

* Developing and maintaining high-quality project management documentation to support delivery and effect change.* Identification of key stakeholders, building relationships and effective stakeholder management* Support financial management of the specific grant fund* Ensuring performance and financial information is collated and reported to grant providers

Essential knowledge:Desirable:* Knowledge of project management techniques, such as PRINCE2 or equivalent* Knowledge of business process modelling, data analysis, business requirements specification and customer journey mapping* Knowledge of the causes and consequences of drug and alcohol dependence* Knowledge of criminal justice orders for drug/alcohol treatment* Knowledge of harm reduction for drug/alcohol useEssential experience:* Experience of project delivery* Experience of facilitating project meetings* Experience of working within multi-disciplinary project teams* Experience of workshop design and facilitation* Experience of working with external stakeholders* Experience of designing and delivering services for vulnerable people
