The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources within an educational setting, possess excellent knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS), and hold an enhanced DBS check.Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in MIS.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment legislation and school policies.
  • Handle employee relations issues, providing advice and support to staff and management.
  • Coordinate staff training and development programs.
  • Assist with the preparation and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Process payroll and manage employee benefits.
  • Support the Headteacher and School Business Manager with HR planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the school's HR systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
