We have an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Paralegal in Croydon.

The Firm

Our client, a Legal 500 and Chambers UK ranked firm, are seeking a Criminal Paralegal to join their expanding Croydon office.

The Opportunity

The successful Criminal Paralegal will be pro-active and efficient, supporting Fee Earners and managing their own caseload. Duties include:

  • Provide high levels of client care
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Manage files and create documents on the case management system
  • Conduct thorough initial consultations
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis
  • Assist in scheduling court hearings and meetings on behalf of clients
  • Attend court hearings and take notes

This Criminal Paralegal opportunity is a full time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm

Requirements

Essential

  • At least 6 months experience in Criminal Law
  • A proven ability in managing cases related to criminal charges, investigations, trials and other Criminal Law matters

Desirable

  • LLB in Law
  • Completed or completing the LPC/SQE with an elective in Criminal Law
