About Us:Our client is a reputable legal organisation dedicated to providing high-quality legal services in Housing Law. They are currently seeking a skilled Housing Litigation Case Manager to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:As a Housing Litigation Case Manager, you will manage your own caseload of housing litigation matters and support the team in achieving successful case resolutions. Your role will involve preparing legal documentation, advising clients, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure efficient legal processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload related to housing litigation, ensuring all legal processes are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Legal Documentation: Prepare and issue legal documents, including court applications and bundles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Client Liaison: Advise clients on legal documents and represent their interests in communications with courts, legal practises, and counsel.
  • Court Procedures: Attend court to issue proceedings, lodge documents, and assist Counsel as required, ensuring adherence to court directions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide effective administrative services to the Housing Law team, including processing court documentation and managing data.
  • Deadline Management: Monitor and diarise all deadlines, ensuring timely action on court orders and applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Principal Lawyer and other team members to support the effective operation of the division, contributing to casework and legal advice as needed.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure that all casework, instructions, and documentation are accurately completed and processed, including liaising with third parties when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Housing Law and relevant court procedures.
  • Proven experience in legal documentation preparation and case management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client liaison.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Familiarity with court applications, judgement applications, and process serving.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Proficiency in using electronic case management systems and key date calendars.
