Bath Reablement team are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.

Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist includes.

  • We are looking for a dynamic, experienced OT that will be able to compliment the services we provide.
  • You will be working with OT, PT's, TAPS (Therapy Assistant Practitioners) & RTW's (Rehab Therapy Workers). The services we provide are:
  • D2A (discharge to assess) where we facilitate discharges from acute and community hospitals.
  • Admission Avoidance (with 48 hours) to prevent admission to hospitals.
  • Planned therapy.
  • We are a fast-paced service with a short length of stay and our overall aim is to provide a period of assessment to establish rehab goals and /or assess long term care needs. To accomplish this, we have some in house capacity for functional daily rehab visits, but we also can work alongside the supporting services when external care is required. We are a very friendly supportive team and look forward to you joining us

To Be Successful.

  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
