Job description

Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2 Teachers required in South Croydon.

At Engage Education, we are currently looking for two ambitious and creative Primary Teachers for a fantastic Primary School in South Croydon. This is a role to start from after Easter 2025.

The school has curated an enthusiastic team and focuses on the development of both teachers and pupils. If you have a proven track record of raising attainment within schools and have a passion for literacy and numeracy, we’d love to hear from you.

The school is a vibrant and inclusive 3 form entry school, who have a warm family feel. Staff well being is a school focus and the leadership team pride themselves on going the extra mile to reduce workload and restore a healthy work/life balance. Teaching should be fun and rewarding, and this school encapsulates that in their ethos, which then translates into more fun and engaging learning for the children.

There are two roles that have become available. One is a maternity cover role, which would begin as soon as possible, and the other is a role that has become available due to the previous class teacher, stepping into a full time SENCO role. Both roles have a the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates.

The ideal candidate has:

  • Full QTS
  • Experience in planning and delivering lessons to a high standard
  • Confidence in teaching all abilities
  • Great behaviour management skills
  • The ability to think fast and adapt lessons accordingly
