You will work closely with teachers to support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development. Key Responsibilities: Primary School Teaching Assistant - Croydon

Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
Support individual or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning.
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive interactions.
Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom organisation.
Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
Work collaboratively with the teaching team to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements: Primary School Teaching Assistant

Previous experience working with children (in an educational setting is a plus).
A passion for education and supporting young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
A flexible and proactive attitude towards work.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths are desirable)
