The Role:As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 if desired. You will play a key role in fostering a love for Science, encouraging curiosity, and helping students reach their full academic potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to a diverse range of learners.
- Assess, monitor, and support student progress in line with curriculum expectations.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively within the Science department to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
- Holds UK QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Has experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics.
- Is committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive learning experience for students.
- Has strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to teaching.
