Qualified Chemistry Teacher Â

We are looking for an exceptional Chemistry Teacher to join our secondary school in Carshalton, where you can make a meaningful difference. The ideal candidate will bring not only expertise but also enthusiasm to the classroom, creating an environment where students are excited to learn and achieve.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in Chemistry.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and achievement.
- Collaborate with science colleagues to develop and share best practices in Chemistry teaching.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the school community.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is a plus).
- PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Chemistry.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and challenging learning environment for all students.
