Are you an experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking a fulfilling role within a supportive and positive environment?We're excited to be working with a vibrant primary school in the Croydon area, which is looking for a dedicated HLTA to join their proactive, collaborative team and support students in a nursery class.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging learning activities for individual students, small groups, and whole classes.
  • Adapt quickly to various school needs and provide support across multiple classes as needed.
  • Provide targeted support for nursery students, including those with SEN, to help enhance their educational progress.
  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and organizing lessons, stepping in to deliver lessons when needed.
  • Help with classroom setup and assist in lesson planning.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Ideally holds a Level 4 Higher-Level TA qualification or equivalent.
  • Positive, patient, and resilient, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
  • Proven experience working in a primary school environment, including supporting children with SEN.
  • Passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
