An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and experienced English Teacher to join a specialist secondary school supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in South London. The school caters to young people aged 11-19 and offers a supportive, inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to thrive.About the Role:We are seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN, including SEMH and additional learning needs. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.Minimum Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS Qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, including SEMH.
  • Up-to-date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
  • A creative and resilient educator with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about raising standards and making a real difference in the lives of young people.
