SEN Tutor based in Croydon- Part Time/Full time - £25-£35per hour

Remedy Education are looking for Secondary Tutors to work 1:1 with students with SEN, you will be teaching the students core subjects.

SEN experience needed: You will work privately or through the local authorities on a 1: 1 basis to make a difference to children with SEN including autism, ADHD, dyslexia and other additional needs.

To be a SEN Tutor you will need:

  • QTS/PGCE or at least 2 years experience teaching and assessing in primary or secondary schools
  • At least 2 years' experience working with SEN special educational needs such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, ADD,
  • A proven record of being able to heighten pupil's confidence, self-esteem and love of learning
  • 100% passion for education, commitment, reliability and honesty
  • To creatively apply differentiated techniques to planning and teaching
  • Excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Incredible patience
  • An excellent knowledge of different learning styles and how to use these
  • The ability to deal with possible behaviour issues
  • A Enhanced DBS on the update service
