Our client, a well-established steel fabrication company, is seeking a Fitters Mate to assist in the installation of architectural and structural steel work.
The role involves working alongside tradesmen, helping with deliveries, and maintaining tidy work areas, with skills in drilling, tapping, and grinding metal required.
Ideal candidates should be able to work well under pressure and possess strong communication skills, along with being hard-working.
Candidates must have Manual Handling, working at heights, and face fit in-date certificates, and a CSCS card is essential for this position.
The pay rate is £16.50 per hour PAYE Umbrella (equivalent to £12.55 per hour PAYE direct), and applicants should ideally have relevant experience in the field.
