Pharmaceutical Warehouse Operative - South London

Opportunity:

This is a brand new opportunity that has been created due to expansion for a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company.

Your role as a Warehouse Operator based in South London will involve:

  • Receiving and booking in raw materials.
  • Processing and loading goods and Raw Materials for dispatch.
  • Supporting the day to day running of the Warehouse duties.
  • Being able to work as part of a cross functional team and learn various jobs in both the Warehouse and Packing areas to support the business.
  • Assisting in routine blind count audits.
  • Performing regular routine cleaning tasks on the fork truck fleet and the work area to ensure they are kept clean at all times.
  • Complying with EHS/GMP/GDP company & corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Placing orders where needed for Raw Material and items required for Production.
  • Replenishing Stock locations when needed.

This is a 6 months contract which will be reviewed for a potential extension or go permanent but this is all dependent on the individual and business needs.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.00 am-3.00 pm 1 week and then 11.00 am-7.00 pm the second week. This will be on a rotational shift.

The PAYE rate is £13.79per hour.

Skills:

To apply for the role of Warehouse Operator you will have the following:

  • Experience in a Warehouse environment.
  • Experience in using Stand On Electric Pallet Truck an advantage.
  • Experience in using warehouse inventory systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • English and Mathematics GCSE or equivalent.
