Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Salary: £15.06 p/h PAYE

- Efficiently receive and verify incoming goods, ensuring quality and quantity meet specifications.
- Utilise handheld devices and IT tools to input data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Maintain organisation in the warehouse by properly labelling and categorising goods for traceability.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness within warehouse areas to maintain maximum shelf-life of goods.
- Participate in stock checks and address discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with issuing equipment to internal clients and documenting actions in the stock management system.
- Collaborate with technicians and colleagues for efficient order processing and picking.
- Carry out inspections and minor reconditioning of reusable equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability in handling tasks.
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and handheld devices.
- Good communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems would be a plus.
- Experience in stock control or inventory management.
- Understanding of social care and wellbeing services is advantageous.

Training will be provided, however, enthusiasm and reliability is essential. You will be required to have your own safety boots, all other PPE will be provided.
