Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager required to join a leading HVAC supplier.

The successful Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will be both office-based near Croydon and field-based, playing a key role in managing key accounts and driving business growth across the UK, for products within the HVAC manufacturing market, such as controllers, actuators, valves, humidifiers, electrical panels, fan speed regulators, sensors, and more via OEM customers.

This Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager will ideally have a knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHUs) or wider HVAC manufactured systems. A HVAC Engineer, ideally with AHU experience, looking to progress into sales would also be of interest.

Key Account Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Role
  • Managing key accounts and driving business growth across the UK, for products within the HVAC manufacturing market, such as controllers, actuators, valves, humidifiers, electrical panels, fan speed regulators, sensors, and more via OEM customers
  • Discuss, negotiate, and finalise HVAC proposals with customers
  • Quote customers for Air Handling Units (AHU) Controls packages as per their requirement
  • Deal with aspects of project management and technical engineering support at the initial stages of onboarding projects
  • Maintaining new HVAC sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets
  • Will be both office-based near Croydon and field-based across the UK, predominantly London, Oxford, and surrounding areas
  • Liaise with various engineering departments

KeyAccount Manager / Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager Requirements
  • Technical knowledge of Air Handling Units (AHUs) or wider HVAC manufactured systems
  • Experience as a Account Manager, Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within the HVAC sector
  • A HVAC Engineer, ideally with AHU experience, looking to progress into sales would also be of interest
  • Experience in key account management, sales, or related roles, ideally within the HVAC sector, ideally Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be beneficial
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to the office near Croydon 3 days per week
