We are looking for Actuator Operatives to join our well-established client in South Molton, a global leader within the aerospace industry.

  • Job Title: Actuator Assembly Operative
  • Hours: Monday - Thursday 8 AM - 4:45 PM, Friday 8 AM - 12 PM
  • Job Type: Full Time; Temp Ongoing;
  • Pay Rate: £11.44/ph
  • Location: South Molton

Looking for a hard working team player to assemble actuators in line with the company procedures and utilising EBS tools and processes. To assemble mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies / top level components and test in line with the Company procedures.

If you have previous experience within electronics, or have any hobbies that involve detailed close work that requires good dexterity then this could be the opportunity for you.

The job will involve working in the electronics team in the manual assembly of small electrical components.

Key responsibilities of Actuator Operative:

  • Adhering to Health and Safety standards and requirements for the role
  • Demonstrating full commitment to the Lean system including application of the 5S tools
  • Consistent demonstration of good housekeeping
  • Adherence to SOPs applicable to the role
  • Adherence to all company policies (including Ethics)
  • IPC 610/620 soldering
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Reporting of Health & Safety issues (accident reporting and near miss/observation reporting)
  • Adherence to engineering drawings and work card instructions.
  • Adherence to quality standards applicable to all parts and processes.

Requirements of Actuator Candidate:

  • Fine Motor Skills & Dexterity are essential in this role.
  • Demonstrate flexibly to meet business requirements
  • Work as part of a team to meet departmental targets
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Be able to read and follow engineering drawings
  • Follow Work Card instructions
  • Able to maintain records
