A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Manager to join an Aerospace company in the North Devon area.

With no day ever being the same the Production Manager role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct all manufacturing activities, assisting with Operational activities along side.
  • Managing KPI's, assessing performance and ensuring cost and quality targets are met.
  • Ensuring production is compliant and policies and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Driving continuous improvement of production, quality and overall performance.
  • Work on developing budgets and resource plans.
  • Looking at Environmental, Health, and Safety issues and ensuring all issues are addressed.
  • Ensuring customer manufacturing delivery times are met.
  • Working with design teams to ensure that the new production implementation phase is as smooth as possible.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Experienced operational/production manager in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Proven experience of leading teams and working with cross functional departments.
  • Ideally experience working in the Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with all concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
