Vibrance has an exciting opportunity for an Activity Worker to join our teamin South Ockendon. You will join us on a full-time basis (37 hours a week) and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £23,177 per annum plus benefits.

Larwood is a registered care home providing 24-hour care for people with learning and physical disabilities aged between 18 and 65.

Vibrance is a registered charity supporting adults with additional needs in London and Essex.

About the Activity Worker role:

We’re looking for an Activity Worker who wants to make a real difference by joining a team that takes a refreshing approach to care.

We are looking for confident and capable Activity Worker who can think on their feet, are energetic, enthusiastic and who are proactive in creating in house and community-based activities. There is a strong team ethos and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels is essential.

Experience of working with people with Learning disabilities and individuals who are on the Autistic spectrum would be useful, however a can-do and positive attitude is more important.

An essential part of the role will require you to drive service users to and from activities in a variety of areas. As such you will need a full UK manual drivers licence (B1) and be comfortable to drive a long wheel based vehicle.
