Role:Regional Sales Manager

Working hours:8am til 5pm

Location:Lopen Business Park

About the role:The Regional Sales Manager role is primarily about generating sales leads and delivering sales support and guidance to a small sales team, resolving problems, and implementing best practice throughout the daily interactions with their focused team. The position is suited to highly motivated leaders that are results driven individuals, who enjoy face to face meetings with customers in the field, looking for new prospects and thrive on the teamwork required to partner with the Sales team.

The Business:Our clienthas grown to become one of the UK's leading independently owned material handling equipment service providers, and provides facilities management, training and hire to its customers with over 100 employees and 2 sites located across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sales teams KPI's and CRM inputs
  • Making face to face visits and prospecting for new businesses and clients
  • Managing new business opportunities with their Teams
  • Ensure lead generation opportunities for their team are followed through to completion, fully utilising the Telesales and Aftersales Teams
  • Open communication between Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistency
  • Key Account Capture
  • Support the set sales strategy for the region.
  • Deliver against personal targets and existing own accounts both internal and external
  • Relationship management with key suppliers and customers.
  • Administration and process control to include: commission claim submittal, sales process review, appraisals, review of all teams documents prior to submission, stock management and deal construction.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Proven experience of working within a sales/target environment
  • Proven Materials Handling experience is a distinct advantage but not essential.
  • Previous sales experience B2B would be a distinct advantage but not essential
  • Leadership, the ability to motivate and guide a team
