The role is for a Senior Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in South Tyneside, with hybrid working options.
Key responsibilities include assisting in the production of monthly financial reports, P&L statements, forecasts, and annual budgets, as well as overseeing financial appraisals for major projects.
Candidates should be fully qualified finance professionals with substantial experience in Management Accounting or Commercial Finance, and ERP/systems implementation experience is desirable.
The position offers a flexible 35-hour work week, with three days in the office and two days remote, along with 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.

The RoleSenior Management Accountant - 12 Month FTC - Hybrid Working - South TynesideNigel Wright are exclusively supporting a fantastic North East business with their search for a Management Accountant to join them. This Management Accountant role supports and reports into the Group Financial Controller and will start on a 12 month fixed term basis.Duties will include:

Assist in the production and maintenance of monthly financial board report.
Monthly production of business area P&L's and financial close, including the monthly reporting pack.
Assist in the production of forecasts and annual budgets
Oversee the financial appraisal of capital investment and other major projects.
Assist in production of quarterly cashflow and covenant reporting forecasts.
Assist in the production of draft annual report and accounts for all group companies, including annual corporation tax returns.
Responsible for Capital and Major Repairs reporting, including monthly accruals, forecasts, and control of spend authorisation.

About You

We're looking to hear from fully qualified Finance professionals with good Management Accounting/Commercial Finance experience.
Any experience of ERP/systems implementation desirable
Ideally you'll be available within one month's notice
