Our public sector client based in South Tyneside has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Advisor to join their team as soon as possible!

The role will be temporary on going until further notice initially, working 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.

The pay rate for the role will be £13.01 per hour.

Working within the Housing Team, duties of the role will include:-

Resolve customer enquiries via a range of communication platforms including telephone calls to the Housing Service Centre, e-mail, Live Chat and social media platforms
Obtaining all information necessary to process and resolve a query/complaint
Put the customer in contact with appropriate colleagues or departments
Maintain accurate computerised information systems, inputting, updating analysis and extracting data
Regular update and monitor customer information held on the system
Undertake general administrative duties such as updating records, application processing, photocopying etc.

In order to be considered for this role you should have previous customer service experience, ideally within a contact centre environment, be IT literate and confident using MS Office programs, as well as able to deliver a high level of customer service.
