The School and Role

This ‘Good’ primary school, based in South Tyneside are looking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work in Early Years unit on a full-time basis. This will be a role where the Teaching Assistant will be providing general classroom support across both Reception and Nursery classes. The Early Years team place a large focus on child-led learning following the interests of the children and ensuring they are meeting the needs of all individuals.

Requirements:

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

  • Experience of working within Early Years.
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience of working with pupils with low attainment
  • A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
  • An ability to work as part of a team
