Jackson Hogg are delighted to be exclusively supporting a Manufacturing, Unionised Business based in South Shields with the appointment of HR Advisor on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.
You will be supporting the Senior HR Business Partner / Head of People in the achievement of business goals and objectives in the business area. You will also play a HR Generalist role in supporting other HR activities and providing guidance as appropriate.
Key responsibilities:
- Provision of support and coaching to line managers on ER matters
- Point of contact for all colleagues for general HR enquiries
- Support in all recruitment activities
- Undertaking day to day operational HR activities in support of assigned functional areas
- Ensuring accurate employment and personal records are maintained
- Supporting on the delivery of efficient occupational health and onboarding process
- Drafting of employment contracts, offer letters and contractual changes
We are looking to speak with candidates who have relevant experience in an operational HR role in a similar working environment. You must be able to communicate effectively and have a willingness to learn about the processes and procedures.
