Position: Account ManagerLocation: South Tyneside

Role Overview: As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic Ecommerce accounts. You will develop strong relationships with key clients, enhance their online presence, and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main contact for all account-related matters.
  • Revenue Growth: Find opportunities to expand accounts, cross-sell, and upsell. Develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Performance Analysis: Review account performance, identify areas for improvement, and create action plans to optimise sales and profitability. Monitor key metrics and provide regular performance reports.
  • Market Trends and Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and keep our clients competitive.
  • Product Knowledge: Understand our products and services deeply to effectively communicate their value to clients and support their marketing efforts.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer support to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high customer satisfaction. Work with internal teams to resolve client concerns promptly.
  • Collaboration: Work with teams like finance, sales, and logistics to develop and execute account strategies, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.
  • Training and Education: Help clients understand their Ecommerce platform, features, and best practices.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account performance, revenue projections, and market insights to share with internal stakeholders.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in a business-related degree (or expected to graduate this year)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Domestic travel may be required once or twice a month.
