This is a temporary contract starting 2nd September 2024, offering the chance to work in a dynamic educational environment.   • Job Title: School Administrator (Temporary)
  • Location: South Shields
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30 minute early finish 1 day a week

?? Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reception duties: greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and directing inquiries.
  • Perform general administrative tasks: filing, scanning, and photocopying documents.
  • Assist with organising school events and meetings: coordinating schedules and sending invitations.
  • Handle both electronic and physical correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate filing.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate school records and databases.
?? Requirements:
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to process one).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.
