South Tyneside Council is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an interim position.
The role requires a commitment of 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Candidates must possess a BA Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification, and be registered with a professional body such as RCOT.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership experience in health and social care settings, particularly in managing services like Occupational Therapy and Disability Housing.
The position offers a competitive salary of £41,000 per annum and requires relevant experience in the field.

South Tyneside Council require an Occupational Therapist on an interim basis.Monday-Friday 37 hrs per week (8.30am -5pm).

We are looking for someone with strong leadership experience in working with people in a health and social care setting who can work with us to strategically to manage the Independent Living Service comprising of Occupational Therapy, Disability Housing Team and In-House Community Equipment Service. The role will play a key part in our journey to excellence, ensuring continuous improvement and embedding good practice standards.
