Quality Technician/Engineer

Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Technician/Engineer on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role will be to ensure that all internal Quality documentation, processes & procedures are up to date and in line with ISO 9001 Standards. Duties are as follows:-

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Working with the in-house team to support with Internal Audit programs and Quality Management Systems
• Carrying out system audits
• 8D Problem solving
• Dealing with all internal non conformances
• Focussing on the continuous improvement of process & procedures
• Auditing internal processes
• Internal Auditor status preferred, not essential

The Person we are looking for

• Minim 2 years’ experience in a quality Technician or Engineer role
• Experience working and supporting to maintain quality management system
• Experience of working to ISO9001 standard.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification preferred
• Strong communication skills in all forms
• Strong computer skills i.e. Excel / Power point
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A positive attitude to dealing with people and problems
• A hands-on problem-solving approach, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
• Experience with 8D problem solving.
• Experience dealing with internal and external non-conformances.
• The ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
• The ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
• The ability to work independently and have responsibility as an individual, as well as being able to integrate and operate as part of a team
