Working for one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision tools for metal machining.  Customers include renowned companies from the general engineering sector, automotive, energy and aerospace industries.
This is a regional role covering the M5 Corridor.
Key Account Manager
In this position, you’ll be managing sales with a portfolio of customers within an assigned geographical territory. You’ll be expected to retain and grow business with existing customers and generate sales from new customers.  We expect you to anticipate and understand customer needs, matching them with our product offering, respond to more complex enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times. You’ll need to demonstrate a strong ability to meet revenue targets by establishing annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans in order to conclude sales orders.
Key Performance Areas;
- We are looking for someone who could establish and maintain working relations and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills of a business and technical nature.
- Thorough knowledge of cutting tools and experience of working with 5 axis machine centres.
- Strong understanding of the Aerospace Industry and the materials used.
- Strong Commercial, Business and Marketing aptitude.
- Strong negotiator and influencing skills.
- Independent, self-directed and results orientated.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills both written and orally
- Seek and take opportunities for learning and self-development.
- Must be a confident speaker in front of internal and external groups, be analytical, able to compile clear plans.
- Be persuasive with good interpersonal skills, be innovative and creative and be a good team player
- Proven sales experience within the metal cutting industry.
